Who we are

The Driver Gear (thedrivergear.com) publishes truck gear guides for truck drivers. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your name, your email address, and your message. We use this information only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share or sell your contact details.

Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner. When you first visit the site, the banner asks which cookies you will allow, and optional cookies are only set if you accept them. A cookie that remembers your banner choice is set so we do not ask you on every visit.

What we do not do

There are no user accounts on this site. You cannot register, log in, or create a profile, so we do not store any account information.

Deal alerts email list

We run one email list: deal alerts. If you sign up at /deal-alerts, we store your email address (and your first name, if you give it) for one purpose — sending you price-drop alerts. Signup is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes your address. We never sell or share it.
